WELCOME TO 18th WARLEY St JOHNS CUB SCOUTS

We are 18th Warley Cub Scouts and on this page you will be able to find out more information about when we meet, who our leaders are and details of up comming meetings.

OUR MEETINGS

We meet during term time on Friday evenings at Warley St Johns Church Hall. Meetings begin at 18:30 till 20:00.

​

We plan varied meetings and incorporate traditional Scouting practices, badge work, fun activities and themes that may be topical at the time i.e. Easter, Duvali, World Book Day etc.

​

We are currently sharing our meetings with the 18th Warley Beaver Colony, while we search for new leaders.

​

MEET THE LEADERS

Carol Sudder

Carol Sudder

Carol has been involved in Scouting at Warley for well over 25 years, along side her husband who helps run the Scouts section.

Matthew Lodge

Matthew Lodge

Matt has been a warranted Cub Scout leader at Warley for over 20 years. He came through the sections at Warley but having left Scouts he returned at the age of 18 to complete the leader training programme and become a warranted Leader.

Matt's Scouting highlights include travelling to Nepal with 28 other Scout leaders to help build a hostel in a remote mountainous village.

Catherine Denham

Catherine got involved with helping out at Cubs while her son was attending the uniformed organisations here at Warley. She became a leader after she caught the Scouting bug.

​

Catherine's Scouting highlights include attending the same Nepal trip as Matt but has since returned to Nepal and also Peru to help with different projects.
